A little walking. A friendly reminder. A big difference.
Help support Mukilteo School District students by reminding our neighbors to return their ballots. Join a doorbelling team, wave a sign, or make a donation—every contribution helps.
Doorbelling is easier than you might think!
You don’t need campaign experience or a polished speech. You’ll work with a team to visit homes of likely supporters and help them remember to turn in their ballots.
Many people won’t answer the door—and that’s okay! Much of the work is simply leaving an informational hanger on the doorknob so they have a reminder waiting when they get home.
Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Team up.
Sign up with a friend or join other volunteers. You won’t be doing this alone.
2. Walk your route.
Visit the homes on your team’s route and offer a friendly ballot reminder when someone answers.
3. Leave helpful information.
If no one answers, leave a door hanger and move on to the next home.
A short conversation is enough.
If someone answers, your greeting can be as simple as:
“Hi! We’re volunteers with the Citizens Team for Mukilteo Schools, stopping by with a reminder to return your ballot. Here’s some information about the school bond. Thank you!”
Bring your walking shoes and a friendly attitude. We’ll provide the information to share.
More Ways to Help
Help us unlock a $5,000 matching grant!
We’ve been awarded a $5,000 matching grant, and we’re just about $1,500 away from raising the funds needed to receive the full match!
Your donation helps us reach that goal and fund voter outreach—including the door hangers our volunteers deliver to remind neighbors to return their ballots.
Help us close the gap and put this generous match to work for Mukilteo students.
